Play Date

I met my friend Jamie and her daughter, Kylie (who is almost 5 months older than Ruthi) at Chic-Fil-A the other day for lunch and a play date. Both girls acted excited about going to see the other, but you would not have known that when they saw each other. They were both quite somber - not the energetic, loud and squealy little girls we know they are. But they played on the playset nicely together. This was Ruthi's first time playing on one of these things by herself, without CJ or me climbing with her. But she did great, and it didn't take her long at all to figure out how to navigate through the little tunnels to find the slide. Oh how this child LOVES to slide! And I was just a teeny bit embarrassed when she threw a little screaming fit when it was time to leave! We definitely need more play dates!!


I had a hard time getting pictures of them together, and I could NOT get Kylie to smile!!
