Menu Plan Monday
Here's another weekly bloggy thing I've been wanting to do, but just haven't yet. So I'm adding mine this week. I have found that since I've actually started planning a weekly menu, we are eating out a LOT less, therefore saving money! And I'm no longer standing in my kitchen at 5:00 wondering what in the world I'm going to feed my family for dinner!
Monday: Leftovers
Tuesday: Easy Cheesy Stuffed Chicken, Make-Ahead Broccoli Cheese & Rice, Rolls
Wednesday: Salisbury Steak (made in crockpot), mashed potatoes, turnip greens, rolls
Thursday: Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwiches
Friday: Chili Mac
Saturday: I will be giving a shower for a friend, so the family will probably have Pizza.
Sunday: Hot Dogs, Mac & Cheese
To see more menu's or to add your own, head over to Laura's (I'm and Organzing Junkie).

Same here... less eating out, saving money & no more standing there trying to scrape up a quick meal. Love it.

Kudos! Menu planning is a money saver! I also believe that people can eat healthier at home too.

Thanks for stopping by! Im just getting started on my blog so I welcome all the company I can get! :)
ReplyDeleteYour whole menu sounds great! I just went and printed out the Make-Ahead Broccoli Cheese & Rice...yum. And for some reason hot dogs and mac & cheese sound especially good this morning!
ReplyDeleteFrom your profile, it sounds like we have at least a few things in common...we homeschooling, scrapbooking mommies. I can't wait to come back and read more.
Have a wonderful day!
it all sounds yummy to me. Great menu
ReplyDeleteI *so* need to get back into menu planning. When my hubby isn't eating with us whether it's due to traveling or having to work at night, I am hard-pressed to cook a full meal for myself and the kids. We eat out far too often!! Maybe I can get motivated by your menus to get some of my own planned.
ReplyDeleteI'd save tons of money by having a pantry or freezer challenge for a couple of weeks and simply eating what we already have!
