This week I tacled my scrapping space. One day I hope to have a room devoted to this, but until then, it is all crammed into my dining area. And I say area, because it's not a separate room. It's open to my living room and kitchen. I am not all that thrilled that when you walk in my front door you can see this space. But I "need" it! I really do! And what started as just the corner has now expanded about as far as it possibly can. I even took over my china cabinet (stored all my dishes that were in there) to house more of my supplies. So it may not be all that pretty, but it works for me for now. I also have all my teacher's guides and resources in this area, so it is really packed. And when I'm doing a lot, it gets QUITE messy! It really needed to be tackled!
Here are the before shots. (Hanging head in shame)
And here are the after shots. (Head lifted a bit higher)
And I still need to clean the things off my table, but I'll get to that...eventually!

WOW~ That is organizatino at it's best :) I love all the stacks of paper in their bins - looks so tidy!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats!

I have the hardest time keeping up with my scrap room. (Calling it a room is probably stretching it...it's very, very tiny. Though I'm not complaining; I'm very grateful to have the space!) Anyway, it doesn't seem to matter how hard I try in there, it gets cluttered up so fast. Looks like you've made excellent use of you small space. Wish I could come over and scrap with you!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Jennifer!
Wow! Not only is it tidy, but pretty! (I'm a sucker for arrays of beautiful paper.)
ReplyDeleteoh wow! that's a pretty huge tackle! it's nice that u are into paper scrapping, i used to scrap a lot but digitally...i'm having some troubles with time and my program so, i haven't scrapped in a month now...
ReplyDeleteMy scrapping space has shared a room with the kitchen, office, bedroom, and finally has a room of its own. Not that I can readily get to it because it's piled pretty high with everything else that gets thrown in there too.
ReplyDeleteGreat tackle!
I am so trying not to be envious!! I'm a beginning scrapper, but already I would love a space to keep things out and organized and not packed up in boxes.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great!
hehe! i loove your description: "...a space...not a separate room...." such is the case 4 a lot of us.
ReplyDeleteGREAT JOB!
You did a great job!! I know how hard it is to keep an "undefined" space neat--same problem here :) Have a great Tuesday!

ReplyDeleteGreat job! I like the cardstock in the iris cart. I actually recently switched to storing my paper vertically and it takes up less space. And take heart, I eventually got my own room for my stuff too! =)
