Today's tackle was a fairly easy one. My front closet tends to be a catch-all. Our coats are in there, along with blankets, beach towels and such. But it catches things I plan to get rid of...clothes the kids have out grown, which get passed down to a friend, and things I just don't want anymore.
So I cleaned it out. It looked pretty bad and was getting a bit dangerous to open the door! I got it all cleaned out and the things I no longer wanted to their designated locations. The clothes made it to my friend. I have a friend who owns a thrift store, and the things I didn't want anymore (that were still good) went there. And I also took the newspapers to the recycling bin. The stroller which doesn't get used often, and the bag of summer toys will find a new home out in the barn.
It wasn't a huge job, but it feels much better! Here is the before:
And the after:
On to bigger and better things tomorrow!
Oh, and I plan to "tackle" getting pictures from our trip up on here before the weekend is over!
